Celebrating Transportation 2050's 10-Year Impact

City Council, Phoenix, Arizona · October 13, 2026. Full, unedited recording published by the local government.

The City of Phoenix is celebrating the 10th anniversary of Transportation 2050 - the voter-approved plan that has shaped a decade of improvements across Phoenix streets, sidewalks and public transit. Since 2015, the Phoenix Public Transit and Street Transportation departments delivered increased bus and light rail service, safety and more accessible crossings and a system that better connects residents to the places that matter most. City leaders and community members reflect on how T2050 has strengthened mobility in Phoenix and enriched daily life. Please Like and Subscribe to the Official…

Our Mission

Community is what binds us together as a people.

1

To give everyone access to every local town and city government proceeding across the country, and to other local forums where local public policy is discussed, debated and decided — all without editing, commentary or analysis, and with a balanced presentation of points of view.

2

To provide elected and appointed officials at every level of government, and others who would influence public policy, a direct conduit to the audience without filtering or otherwise distorting their points of view.

We build interest in local participation, promote civic duty by holding up those already serving as role models, and foster the notion that we are all members of a community — our own local, our state and our country.
