The Franklin County Board of Commissioners held a final hearing on the Mando Ditch petition on September 22, 2026, and approved Res. 0623-26 to build drainage improvements in Area Two along Morris Road in Brown Township. The County Engineer's Office recommended Area Two, estimated at about $377,000, and dismissal of Areas One, Three and Four, where costs could not be shown to stay below benefits. Eight residents testified on flooding, cost and the health of Big Darby Creek. Affected property owners can pay assessments over 15 years, with no interest charged.
